Old Greenwich is about 35 miles from Manhattan, north-east of Greenwich and south-west of Stamford. The office is easily accessible by car or by rail. The Old Greenwich train station is a quick walk from our office building. Stamford station (a major Amtrak stop) is less than two miles away.
DIRECTIONS BY CAR
Ellington enjoys easy access from a number of major routes in Connecticut, including Interstate 95 (Connecticut Turnpike). The following are directions from I-95:
Northbound: Take Exit 6 (Harvard Ave.) in Connecticut and make a right at the traffic light.
Southbound: Take Exit 6 in Connecticut and make a left at the second traffic light (Harvard Ave.).
Follow that road to the end and make a right at Selleck St. Selleck St. changes to Brownhouse Rd. Follow Brownhouse Rd. to the end. You will see the entrance to Old Greenwich Gables. Proceed into Old Greenwich Gables and bear left after the gate. Our office will be directly ahead of you.
Parking is available in front and to the right of the building. Ellington’s reception desk is on the third floor.
DIRECTIONS BY RAIL
Take the Metro-North railroad to the Old Greenwich station.
1(a). If coming from the west (e.g., New York), cross over to other side (i.e., the north side) of the tracks by going down the stairs at west end of the station, crossing under the tracks, and going up the stairs to the parking lot on the north side.
1(b). If coming from the east (e.g., Stamford), exit the train and stay on that side (i.e., the north side) of the tracks.
2. Walk east (towards Stamford / away from New York) on the north side of the tracks, through the parking lot. You will be walking alongside a condominium complex on your left. Continue to walk to the far end of the parking lot where there will be a walkway that runs parallel to the train tracks. Follow this walkway to the end and descend the staircase to street level. Continue to follow the sidewalk path. On your left, you will begin to see the office building and a pathway leading towards the entrance steps of 53 Forest Avenue. It’s about a seven to eight minute walk from exiting the train to entering the office building. Ellington’s reception desk is located on the third floor.
