We’re looking for a junior software engineer to help us build and maintain our financial systems and their infrastructure. Your work will have a direct and immediate impact on our business. You'll interact with smart, talented and creative people who are experts in finance, mathematics and computer science. You'll be learning and improving your skills every day. And you'll be given more responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.

We use C++ when we need the speed, but we also have a lot of Python and some C# as well. We're also looking into Erlang. We have a proprietary distributed computing platform and a home-grown network protocol generator that are kind of neat. We love beautiful code that gets things done.

You must have:

• An interest in mathematical finance.
• A passion for tackling problems across the spectrum, from debugging existing systems to designing new ones.
• A strong mathematical background.
• A deep understanding of modern computer science principles and how they apply in practice.
• Proficiency in C++.
